Homelessness- Its problems and solutions

Homelessness has been one of the common problems occurring in many countries especially developing countries. Homelessness is the condition of people without a regular dwelling, which means without shelters, money or food. This problem needs to prevent quickly or otherwise it will hinder the countries from advancing further. This essay will examine the problem of homelessness and suggest some solution for it.
It has been widely acknowledged that homelessness has affected many people. It causes several problems which affect lives and development. The three most common impacts are Crime, Society problem and Health problem. Firstly, Homelessness leads to crime. In order to survive the harsh reality of living on the street, homeless people tend to commit crime. Homelessness can put a person in such a mental stage which cause depression and anxiety which leads to suicidal acts, murder, kidnapping or any chaotic behavior. According to The Family and Youth Bureau, a division of the department of Health and Human Services, recently compiles several studies as researchers conducted a review studies on homeless youth and found out that homeless youth use many different substances commonly known as alcohol, sedatives, and cannabinoids...as self-medicate with depression and to cope with the challenges and also homeless youth temp to associated with both the victim and the perpetrator of violence. Second, homelessness affects the society. The higher the rate of homeless people, the fewer rates on human resources. Homeless people will not be able to dedicate themselves wisely and widely to the society. They can’t even pay taxes or help in any social activities. This is such a waste for the countries and prevent the countries from developing. Third, Health problem is one of the issue among all. Most homeless individuals have mental disorders. Perhaps it is a genuine lack of ignorance. They are isolated to certain parts of the community and unless you’re intentionally looking for them or you may not find them. Furthermore, Homeless people can’t even afford food, shelter and medication which cause many health problems such as nutrition deproficiency, starvation, dehydration, higher rate of transmitted disease...etc.
So in order to solve this problem, we need to look for the possible and beneficial solutions.
As the matter of fact, we need more donations. Throwing the money around doesn’t  seem to have aided the situation much. Shelters are the only band aid. Shelters, food, medication, clothing...are in need for those people and this little thing means world to them. Offering more job opportunities is also a good idea. Once they have the job, they will be able to support themselves so do their family. Along with these solutions, giving them love and support is another important way. By offering them our support, they will stop having the fear of being left out by the world. They will start to see the world in the different ways and open themselves up. It is important to speak of them as homeless people, and not just generically as ‘’ the homeless’’.
In conclusion, homelessness may seem like a major issue in some countries, yet it can be prevent and stop. If people can unite to stop this problem, the world will be a better place for today and tomorrow.

Life is like a box of chocolate

Are you familiar with the quote " Life is like a box of chocolate " from the movie Forrest Gump? The one that went " life is like a box of chocolate you never know what you gonna get". Everything in our life comes to us for reasons. Some people believed that God had already written their destiny and they depended on fate. But for others, they think they're  the one who marked their own fate and walk through their ways. In one day so many things happen and nobody can predict. That why life has been compared to a box of chocolate. You never know which flavor or type of chocolate you gonna receive. And if we compare that to life, we never know what kind of flavor will we get from our lives. Sweet or Bitter...no one knows.

Comparing yourself to others

Sometimes we think we haven't done the best we can and we always think other people have done better than us. That is when we start to feel dissatisfied or generally disappointed in ourselves. Once we feel disappointed, we will be discouraged and also this will lead us to depression. Depression is the state of feeling when we stress out and won't be able to think optimistic anymore. Comparing ourselves to others is like you judging your own self. You start to lose faith in your abilities and your ideas. You feel like a complete idiot while others are geniuses. Should you compare yourself to  other people? The answer is obviously Of course not. Sometime we may feel like we have to do everything perfectly so that no one would laugh at us. For example: that smart kid in the class who always tries to study his brain out in order to get good classification every months so that other students don't laugh at him. But guess what? Nobody cares. The other students who he thinks would laugh at him are probably worrying about their own classification too. Nobody would mind your business because they are worrying about theirs. So comparing yourself with others is quite similar. Try to think optimistic about what you're doing. Be optimism and stop worrying about others'. Try to push yourself and support what you do. Even if no one supports you, be your own fan. Embrace yourself!

Rich is the new value?

Given the power and influence of the super rich, it might seem as social status and material possessions are the new symbol of the personal worth. But in every day life I do not think this is true.
It is apparent that celebrities today are admired and envied solely for their material, wealth or position in various social hierarchies. Many of these people are known to turn their backs on friends, cheat on their spouses or spend their evening over-indulging in alcohol or drugs. Things like owning a mansion, driving an expensive car and getting into A-list parties are exalted above old-fashioned valued. Ultimately, though, it is the many readers of gossip magazines and celebrity blogs who reinforce these ideas.
Nevertheless, I do believe that their day-to-day lives most people still believe in values such as honour, kindness and trust. In some way, most of us want to form loving families, raise our children to be good citizens, stand up against downtrodden and protect our communities for harm. We still form friendship, romance and bussiness partnerships base on old-fashioned criteria. When our trust is abused or poorly treated, we see that as a major violation of our relationship and we judge the wrongdoer accordingly.
In conclusion, I do believe there is some truth to the notion that status and possessions have superseded old-fashioned values as a measure of a person's worth. Looking beyond the tabloids ; however, it is apparent that mos ordinary people still have preserved old-fashioned conscience.
